Welcome!

I created this blog while in court reporting school to chronicle my journey as a court reporting student. I'm happy to say I finally reached my goal of becoming a Certified Shorthand Reporter in the State of California!

In the summer of 2013, I graduated from court reporting school, having passed six Qualifier tests (one is required to graduate) and being award a scholarship from a local Woman's Club. I passed the CSR exam on my first attempt in 2013 and received my official license in 2014.

I give God all the praise because I couldn't have done this without His help! I also am very thankful to my husband, family, and friends who constantly supported me and believed in me, even when I felt I couldn't go on.

If you're a court reporting student, please know that I understand what you're going through and support you 100%! Becoming proficient in court reporting is no easy task, but believe me when I say... it's totally worth it in the end! :)
